1970 Bee oil gauge is off, this one says 7 psi and was supposably calibrated the other one read 20 psi. Replaced oil sending unit twice. Installed mechanical gauge and have 75psi cold and 50psi warm. Is this common on these rally gauges? All new wires on the Bee.

Are the other electric gauges working ok ?
Not sure if the dash voltage limiter comes into play on your oil gauge.

other gauges work fine, could it be the junk after market sending unit?

Make sure you are using the correct sending unit. There are different ones for psi ratings on the gauge.

As I said Dave... I show how to check the sender in that link, as I got a junk one to start off. Gauge test is the same as the fuel gauge... touch the wire to ground and it'll sweep full, or put a 10 ohm resistor inline and it will show "full" like the fuel gauge with no chance of gauge damage.
