Hi all-

In the process of of converting from a 2 speed motor to 3 speed motor to accommodate an Air Grabber setup on my 69 RR.

I already have the motor, the switch and crank arm - where can I source the 3 speed bushing (part #2580200) that Kim at Passion4Mopars mentions on the site? doing an online search with part # is not turning up much. Using a description of the item and doing another search I found one on MegaPartsUSA for $25 - seems like a lot for a plastic bushing the size of a quarter...

Thanks!

You can purchase them at your local NAPA store part #6651537 for less than 3 dollars for a set of 2.. This is why people complain about the price of Mopar parts if people keep thinking that stupid prices make better parts go for it?

I say one thing - Kim knows her sh$t if she can't help you ..... Good luck. Just went thru this issue myself for the same reason. Kim was a world of help.

Kim lists the part # as needed for the conversion from 2 speed to 3 speed but doesnt actually sell it, which was the reason for the question here. Thankfully a friend had a spare 3 speed crank arm, because those things must have been cast in unobtanium for what people are asking for them...

Oh you need to ask if you don't see it on the website. I have bushings, the clips and doo dads I sometimes don't even know I have if I start diggin and looking if someone needs something. $25 is about the going rate for those bushings. As far as I'm aware theres only one person repopping them. Can't use the black two speed bushing on a three speed crank arm. Won't work, will bind the motor. There are alot of parts made of unobtainium...I thought I was the only one who used that term LOL

I bought the NAPA bushings. They do not work where the motor crank arm attaches to the wiper linkage. They are way too small.

I have what I think is the 2 piece for the crank arm to wiper trans. Bought it for my 2 speed from a guy reccomended by Kim out of Florida. It is not even close for my app. Paid way to much like $75. PM me your # and I will take a pic and send if you are interested.

You must have a VSPEED crank arm with the two piece bushing, spring and wave washer? Those were specific to the 67 early 68 motors that used the VSPEED crank arm because the opening was big enough for the concentric motor output shaft. I'm not sure if the OP was talking about the bushing for the crank arm or bushing for the linkage
