My wipers don't park correctly and I'm wondering if the switch is wired wrong.
The switch has seven connectors, five are in a connector block which can only be fitted one way but there are two single connectors that could be connected wrongly. Problem is, I can't get to them without removing the rallye dash.
Anyone know what happens when the two single connectors are reversed?

I'll check the ground but I'm pretty sure there's a short grounding wire on the motor so it should be ok. Maybe if I describe how they operate someone may know what's wrong.

The wipers sit parked close to the bottom of the screen. When I switch the wipers on they work fine but after every sweep return to close to the bottom of the screen.
If I turn them off while they are returning to the parked position, they immediately reverse then complete one more sweep.

This isn't how they should operate is it?

When I said bad grounding I didn't only mean the motor...but the switch as well. That said, I have had my switch removed from the console before testing it and would get some very strange behaviors from the wipers. Some like what you are describing. Make sure the switch is properly tightened into the cluster and that it too is grounded well. Beyond that, no that isn't how they should operate to my recollection. Sorry my car isn't here for me to test it with...and since I never use them its kinda hard for me to say. Hopefully someone else can add more info for you.
