Well after having two trips to one alignment shop on Monday. Finally found one today that knew what they were doing. Did a good job on the old girl. Ill do some paint touch ups on the front suspension. Just have to replace steering box sometime
Next time try it yourself. I did mine (first time I ever tried anything like that before) and it worked out great. There are a few threads here on how to do it properly. Honestly, I only planned on driving it to the alignment shop, but after reading horror stories like yours, I decided to do a better job of it and nix the alignment shop.
Only guy who can dial mine in is Fred at 5 Points tire in Redwood City. He does the local exotics and was a track racer back in the day. Hope he has not retired. Check with Firm Feel and consider a Stage 2 steering box if they have an application for your car.
I'm debating on whether or not to replace steering box or do the exhaust and headers first. I would like headers to work with the stock engine and heads. As well as when i have the engine built as a stroker motor. I don't want to have to replace them twice.
