Get on the hiway and blast that carbon out by flooring it up to about 75 or 80! That will help! Also make sure your ex system is free flowing. A plugged catalytic convertor can cause those problems.

Hmmm- brain. Could be.
Has been fine since new dist put in and timing set by feel.
No cats in 73, and is aftermarket duals anyway.
I will be tearing inti that dist, though, since I'm now short one.

Is that an electronic ign dist? They are fairly easy to work on.The only area that can get you in trouble, is the arrow on the spark generator has to be set on the right one for your dist rotation.
