If it were me I would advertise the 70 340 block and sell it as certainly there is someone out there looking for that casting date for a numbers car.
The car you are planning on using it for will not garner any additional value from it. I would look for a good running 360 for the car which are plentiful.
Put the 340 on Ebay with the casting numbes and casting dates and you will likely be surprised what it may bring. Get it sonic tested and magged first because everyone will want to know it is good just as you will if you intend to use it yourself.
