340 to 904 trans

i have 1973 charger with a 318 V8 with 904 trans. I bilt a 1971 340 will my 904 bolt up to my 71 340 or do i need to buy a 727? thanks for the help.

Will bolt up. Check to see if they are both external balanced. you may need a weighted converter or flexplate. This would be the possible issues. Dont know much about 340s.

Yup. Like the devilish one said, make sure everything matches. The 904 will actually put a little more power to the ground since it has smaller internals.
