383 Engine Identification HELP

This is the pad number. To me it looks like the pad was ground by the looks of the uneven mill marks.

CP45H9C204699 = 383-4bbl (H) out of a 1969 (9) Chrysler Town and Country station wagon (CP45) built at the Jefferson Plant (C). The mill marks are fine. It's when they are missing we get suspicious.

I still have my 1st car a 1970 coronet 440. I bought it in the 11th grade in 1979 for $650. I had a friend Steve Erickson his dad owned Erickson Auto parts in South Beloit Illinois. Steve sold me a motor out of one of his race cars. He raced roadrunner class at the Rockford Speedway. I am doing a rotisserie restoration on my coronet. I had a not so honest guy in my garage and he swapped my motor with that one you confirmed the numbers on. I'm just sick and mad.

Now that were on the subject.... help me out on this engine. I think the R is regular fuel? ,,,,1969? so would that make it a 2 barrel eng?

any Idea on braking down the serial number :thankyou:
