It has HP stamped on the lower right of the identification pad.
HP motors would have 4 bbl carb, 10 to 1 pistons, windage tray,hotter cam, stiffer valve springs, 6 quart oil pan,double row timing chain,mine has a HV oil pump but not sure they all came that way.
Bottom line is any 383 can be made an HP as the blocks are all the same.

here’s another example of a 383hp. 1968. It’s hard to see.. blow it up a bit and you can. D 383. 3. 6 in middle then in lower right corner the HP.
I should also say that pad is on the front corner, passenger side of motor as in post 3 from beepbeep. The b motor. 383/400
