MS4589S fuel pump.jpg

I am putting my Charger back together after a restoration. I can guess, but does the photo show the correct inlet and oulet locations for the fuel hoses?

While it will work as configured the original pumps locations were orientated different the the output was a female inverted flare style fitting.

383 doesnt have the female inverted flair connection. Thats 440 thing

383 is just a hose and clamp to metal line up to carb
Understood. But dosent the outlet in his picture seem off. Looks like its pointing at the block. Seems off to me.

They all had the inverted flare outlet from factory. The pipe nipple was an aftermarket thing.

I'm the original owner of the car, and the current pump is the third one since new. The first two were replaced due to leaking at the flange. The pump installed on the car now is no different from the original configuration. The inlet and outlet are both at 45-deg. angle to the block and are parallel to each other, and both have the typical tube bubble flares. It has been almost three years since I disconnected the hoses and pulled the engine, so I just wanted to be sure to connect the new hoses the same as before.
Thanks for the responses!
