Building a 383 with 516 closed chamber heads.Boring 40 over.Need thoughts on intake and cam choice
Thanks in advanced

How do you plan to drive the car? Cross-country trips? Local street driving? Drag racing?

Also, what rear end gears do you have or plan to use?

To add to Beeper, good running? GREAT running etc. Never forget there are trade-offs with anything you decide.

Intake, I’d consider an RPM. Seems like it’s always the best performing street intake regardless of combo for most street builds.

plan on driving street would like a nice hot rod and will be running 3.23 gears
Thanks

I am running a old crane to 440-6 sepc. in one of the 383's, 68 block with 67 heads, 4000 lbs., 3:54 and A-833 blue streak.
Std. bore and factory 63 intake with ported and polished runners. Runs well for a road car and still gets 16 mpg

Maybe 1-3/4–1-7/8” headers if not going cast exhaust?
