Hello all,

i will be swapping out a383 HP motor currently in my 69 Coronet RT with a 440 stroker. The new motor has Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and intake with the Comp high energy cam.
I know that the distributor and flywheel will not interchange. Since the 440 was a bare block, what else can I not use from the 383? The car is a 4 spd so I assume the bell housing will swap. Any accessory brackets etc I need to buy? Anything else I need to be thinking about? Really looking forward to getting some serious HP under the hood!

Flywheel should work if the stroker is internal balanced. Does it have A/C? Alt brackets will work but won't need the little bracket on the pass head for alt bolt on the 440.
Most everything else will interchange
Dist, pushrods and intake manifold are different between 383 and 440.

easy way to check the front of the eng is anything that bolts to the head will not interchange.
