They say you can’t take enough pictures. WELL they were correct. My old carpet is snowbound and I can’t get to it.
I appreciate it of someone would post a picture showing the front carpet cutouts on the top of the tunnel. Or tell me where to look.
There is a clip on the firewall pinch weld near the inner fender z bar, a picture of that would be helpful along with pictures of the clip placement on the transmission for the backup light wires.
Thank you.

I had in mind a photo to post of a multi speed carpet complete with reverse but figured I would get banned if I did.

The top edge is cut the same for a 4 speed and automatic carpet. Because when you think about it and column shift manual 3 on tree still has a clutch rod but no hump on the floor. Uses same rug as an automatic.

They have it cut out for the clutch pushrod. And a part circle cut out for column.

Then the hole for the accel pedal rod, and a straight cut for the pivot lever.

Update.
Pictures of the cutouts on top of the console around the brackets etc. I have done all of the other stuff
I am including pictures of the two clips that I can’t remember location . The smaller clip on the right, I have no idea. The left clip I am quite certain is in the pinch weld lower down on the firewall.
Hard to articulate.
Thank you everyone for your advice

I am so glad you posted this. Currently just starting the tear out of my carpet, and had not yet taken pictures! The interior appears to have never been apart, so it seems to all be in factory spec. Pics will make it easier come reassembly time.

I have a 4 speed car too, I'll try and get pics of that area and those clips this weekend for you.

The first clip is for the speedometer cable on driver side frame rail near the firewall. I think the other might be one for it also but can't remember placement.

I think Quick BpBp might have the answer, but a picture of it in the engine bay would really be a benefit.
