Does anyone have a recomendations for a company that has carpets for a 65 coronet with a 4 speed. I am hoping for something that will fit right ...

My carpet from Original Auto Interiors fit pretty well around my 64's 4spd hump.

I've found that some spray adhesive around the hump is always necessary to hold it in place.

wow HitIt, that interior looks awesome!
Can you tell me where to get those vinyl Floor Mats for 4 Speed Cars?
Thank you

Peter

I agree HitIt nice pictures. I only hope my car looks that good. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I forgot one last question. I guess the 80/20 loop would be the original style carpeting in 65?

Those floormats were about the hardest thing for me to find for the whole entire resto! Glad you like them.

I wanted red vinyl in an original style which made it pretty difficult. the four speed hump made it so that separate left and right pieces were what would fit, not the big one piece mat that works in pushbutton/column auto cars. But that big one piece mat was the exact style / texture that I had stuck in my mind. I hope - for your sake- that you're looking for a different color because red seemed the least common.

So anyway this one is an NOS piece from a 'fullsize chevy wagon'. I cut the center connector piece off, and laid it down on the floor behind the hump (most of it is under the seat), then put the two sides in as normal. It's actually a little too wide overall but pretty much what I was wanting. There is also a matching one for the back seat which I don't have a pic of at the moment.

Redman- 80/20 loop is the original style.

Thanks for your information.
And no i dont look for a red one, i want a black one.
You did a great job!

I have a brand new carpet for a 4 spd for a 64 Fury. Should be the same carpet. Have never taken it out the box yet. Black

Looks like stock interiors may get the purchase. They are only $134.00 for the carpet. The other one was $224.00 . Any reason why there would be such a price difference. They advertise that they are direct fit moulded. Not sure why the cost is so different.

I just found a carpet available with extra carpet on the rear section to cover the floor where the back seat used to be!!!:hello2:

Yes, we could leave this molded carpet longer in the rear. You would have to
call in the order so the notes can be put in the order when it is placed. There
is a small up charge for the extra material but it is something we could do for
you. You can reach is at 1-800-633-2358. Our Call Center is open 8 a.m. till 5
p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday.

Thank you,

I just ordered mine from Stockinteriors for 150.00 shipped. I will let you know how it looks.

I also used an ACC carpet in my 65 coronet wagon with a 4 speed. First carpet I had put in and was very pleased with the fit.
