4 speed decode???

Bought a 4 speed today to put in my 69 runner. Its an automatic now but was a stick at birth. Still got the clutch pedal in the floorboard. Wanting to go back to the manual so im just getting into the A833s. Bought one today and trying to figure out exactly what I have if someone could help me out been looking through the forums figuring out some of it. And been trying decode it with the info ive found but im still confused. So any info is appreciated and Thanks.

On the case is C99129H
Vin plate 0G121441 and below it is pp833951 0217
It has the long tail shaft.

looks like a 1970 trans. could that actually read pp833 2951 .... which would be August production

Yeah it sure is. I forgot the 2 in there. Your good lol thanks for that. Ive looked everywhere trying to figure out how to decode a A833.......THANK YOU.

Is it an 18 spline input or 23? If 18 you hit the jack pot.

VIN would be consistent with a Belvedere based car with an SPD of 913.

23 spline would be a 383 Satellite, SS, RR.
18 spline would be a 440 or Hemi RR or GTX

How do i find what spline it is. Its just the tranny no bellhousing or anything.

Gee count the number of teeth on the input shaft. Is there 18 or 23 ?
