Almost a year, good to see you are back on it! Life has a way of screwing up the best laid plans. Keep up the great work.
Quick question. What color is the blue you are using: 1972 TB3 Super Blue, 1973 TB3 Basin Blue, or maybe 1970 Corporate Blue.
Just curious as I am probably going to paint a 1972 Challenger in one of the above "Petty Blue" colors.
Looking forward to seeing the final product. Hope all goes well.
Been trying to figure out what I was going to do with the rear side windows. I was figuring they would be permanently up or make removable. Ended up buying all the rear tracks and parts to see what we could do. With the axle up way past where it will ever go it was right at the window. At normal ride height I'll have about 4" plus of up travel before it will hit. So I'll I had to do was modify the wheel tubs to clear the window when it's down.
Needed to add turn signals but the original Nascar steering column had no where to mount a switch. I ended up going with a Speedway Motors hot rod column.
I wanted a pistol grip shifter but didn't know if any of the factory one's would work in my chassis. Looked like a 71-74 B-body bench seat shifter was close. I ended up making a template off the one that came with the Nascar chassis.
