An aluminum water pump housing from 440source vita has rap on a small sized port inside the housing. I have not had any issues with mine. It is also easy to open it up with a die grinder or even a dremel. So have no worry there. A aluminum W/P and housing takes care of the front of the engine. The only other thing is aluminum pulley, which I wouldn’t bother doing, unless it didn’t have any AND a stock look isn’t needed/wanted.
Your call.
A manual steering box saves a lot of weight, if you don’t mind putting muscle into some slow driving maneuvers.
The box itself is aluminum and you loose all of the brackets and pump and hoses.
Fiberglas drops a good amount. What about a bumper?
On my ‘79 Magnum, the putter chrome is weighty.
The inner bumper is REALLLLLLY heavy.
Split them up and save big!
