I'm still working on the engine ordeal.The 426 street wedge engine I found in florida ended up being cracked as well.This time it was magnafluxed before I made another mistake.

A 440 short block will solve your problem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
if anyone is interested, there is another street wedge block on ebay item number 251536468254 and it is .030 with 2 sleeves ( one sleeve is new ) . It has been magna fluxed and has been cut for the max wedge valves.

I was a little bored today so we insulated the doors and put the right rear quarter glass in.

Hi Dave, this is Steve in Maryland. Your project is coming along very nicely and I'm jealous. Lol! I wish I was that far along with my '64 Polara but life and other work just keeps getting in the way.

I noticed your recent pics and the one of your installed heater box in particular caught my eye. Can I ask where you found that large, flexible hose that connects the 2 pieces right in front of the passanger's feet? In my convertible, that piece of hose/ductwork was all but destroyed and I haven't seen them reproduced..... Thanks!

Dave there is a guy (jbooth35)who has a street wedge block over on moparts.He has a few other parts and has recieved an offer.Maybe he'll sell you the block (and me the intake :0)

I have been looking in moparts all the time for a lead on an engine never seen this add. I pm him today and will keep in touch with you.I'm not sure with the casting dates. Dave L
 
Here's a C List ad from Southern Calif, for a 63 stage 1 Maxie motor.
The build date is too late for my 64 4 speed, 426 Commando belvedere (exact same color combo as your Coronet).

Hello All,I have been working very hard on the coronet.I have all the body almost put together.The a426 I found in florida worked out.The engine builder called me today and said all the machine work is done and he is waiting for cam bearings.Thanks superfly tnt for the tip on another a426.I'll be posting pictures soon. Stay tune I have alot to put on this thread.Keep restoring them mopar.Dave L
