This is the ONLY time I would ever take a second look at a '69 Camaro. Thought it was worthy of sharing. This car is all original! The old cat that owns it still races. It's got just over 68,000 miles on it and has never been wrecked. It is for sale, he's been offered 2 Million from some "Yenko museum" guys. This is all I got just before he loaded it back in the trailer.

2 million and he didn't take it? In this economy? I'm calling BS on that one.

BTW, nice, nice car.

Oh yeah, that is worthy of a second look. $2 mil is Ferrari money and I'd have to agree with Cranium on this one. I also agree it would be hard to let go after owning for all those years.

To me (and I think most of us here) it makes no difference. But that's what he said. He was a really nice guy and asked about my car(s). he also said that Lenno made him an offer, didn't say how much. honestly, i think he likes the attention.

It's a real nice Yenko. A true museum piece. If you owned it what would you do with it? Drive it to the mall and leave it in the parking lot?
I'd rather have the million or so that I could sell it for and a fleet of old Mopars that I can actually drive around and have fun with. But that's just me.

If I owned it, I would definitely drive it. My opinion is that once you stick a "car" in a museum, it's like seeing a stuffed polar bear or any animal on display in a museum. It's dead.
Like any car, it was built to drive, not to display, and it should be driven.

Nice car, very desirable 69 Yenko Camaro, I'd drive it like I stole it, just like every other Muscle car I've owned... I've had quite a few 67-69 1st gen Camaros, I would love to have any 'one of 69' ZL1's, rare COPO's, Baldwin Motion, Nickey or Don Yenko, Chevelle, Nova, Vette or Camaro's... but I'm also not willing to pay the ridiculous unreal "asking prices" & yes $2 million was way too much, even in 2007 dollars, "maybe" if it was #1 production # car & had some real traceable history & proper documentation {GM wasn't to good at that, like Mopar was}, then if it was way under 10,000 miles, racing history all a 1/4 mile at a time, than it "maybe" worth over a million $$$$'s, in 100% perfect OEM survivor condition... the rest is all just fabricated BS... Thanks for Sharing 2059, it's always great to see these pieces of automotive history....

Nice to see another Yenko ....the original dealership was 20 mins from me...I cant believe that there were so many yenko cars made and hardly any are in or around the greater Pittsburgh area

Nice HP rating at 5k. HaHa! I'd expect a 427 like that to be over 500 easy.

Honestly, no way I drive that. I'd take my $2 mil and let Leno drive it.

What a cool car ! I have always liked the Yenko's the best of the 69 Camaro's as I like the way Yenko did the stripes. Not to mention a big bad 427 under the hood ! Ron

There's one local to me and I am pretty sure it could be bought for well under that amount.
