I ran one a while back. Manifold had all the DC modifications. Also the carbs were reworked. Ran great at the track( similar to a tunnel ram) but not a good street manifold, stop light to stop light. Sitting on the shelf now. By the way you have the wrong modifications shown. That is for the STR manifolds. Take a look here Weiand 6 Pack Manifold Comments
I used to run that manifold with a single dominator top years ago, it actually worked pretty good for my car. I took it off and replaced it with a crossram so I could go NSS racing slowed the car down several tenths. I see them at swap meets every once in a while, they usually have a big number on them.
Engine masters did a comparison test of the stock Sixpack manifold, edelbrock box ram and the weiand tunnel version.
I'm watching it now, but memory says......
they hated the weiand. Couldn't tune it. If it worked, every s/s 6pack would run it.
When Dulcich, Freiburger, and Brule can't tune it.......
LOTS of money, mostly eyewash. Sure is a conversation starter tho.
EM , referring to the weiand:
"Let's review, undrivable, really difficult to tune, but at least it doesn't make horsepower."
(The stock Eddie Sixpack crushed it).
Episode 440 six-pack shootout.
.....and those carbs in post#1 picture are Demons for a small block chevy, smaller than stock Mopar, and even smaller than the tripower holley corvette setup.
