I have a Offenhauser dual quad and I can't find any torque specs on it. I see that a cast iron intake is 40lb/ft but Edelbrock recommends their aluminum intakes at 25lb/ft. Any help would be appreciated.

Just snug it with a 3/8" drive ratchet. Make sure everything is properly seated and the bolts don't bind. You may want to use washers to keep from gouging the aluminum. 30 lbs/ft is about right.

I hate to admit it but for the most part on intake manifolds I torque them to where my right elbow says it is tight. I do tighten them in the proper sequence. I have not have any problems with intakes leaking.

google arp torque spec chart. It depends on fasteners used not which intake.

And for sure use washers or you will gouge the aluminum. Thicker and hardened washers are best since they don't deform.
