Have a rebuilt 440 w the following..I am looking to change out the cam to a more streetable profile.
The current cam is not streetable....
440 bored .030 with all the right bottom end pieces etc.
6091 Edelbrock RPM heads w 84cc ch
L-2295-F forged pistons for what looks to be final 10.7:1 comp
Edelbrock RPM intake w 750 dp ann dis Holley
1.5 cast iron isky adj rockers
727 w possibly getting a 42200 Street Fighter converter
3.23 rear(could change to a 3.55/3.73 but want highway driveability)
all for a 3500lb 69 RR conv.
I am considering a Lunati 10230704(hyd .513/.533lift 234/242dur 110/106LS) however it was recommended by their tech to get a custom grind of the same with 112LS
Another guided choice was the Hughes HEH3237BL(hyd .540/.548lift 232/237dur 110degLS) Their tech said to actually regrind to 108degLS.
I am hearing that the change to 108LS will really kill the low end though.
Thoughts?
