I would think about replacing the crank and rod bearings also and if you could afford it, get a forged steal crank & stronger con rods & arp con rod bolt kit so you can upgrade the cam an not worry about the bottom end breaking down... makes you almost bullet proof... thats what I want to do.
I have a 69 magnum 440hp,I think it has a steel crank and rods,may replace pistons,the eddy kit i am looking at is only 100 hp over stock,there are quite a few guys on here using stock bottom end with no problems,you can say I told u so if I am putting my pistons in a bucket after I blow one through the hood if i do,thanks for the advice.
