From a bit of reading online, it looks like the Hemi used the same oil pump as the 440, but with a stiffer pressure relief spring. Is this true?

I have a perfectly good low mileage 440 pump I want to use on my 484 Hemi.

The pump and relief spring are the same, 440 & Hemi. I have a 472 hemi and have 70psi when warm and about 1500 rpm.

Open it up and check the rotor for scoring and make sure you have .002" minimum face clearance.

Only real difference can be the price of a new one. Hemi anything seems to bring 40% increase in price even though its the same part.
