i have a 67 bellvedere with a 440 and a m1 intake and i dont have enough room to clear a breather under the hood is this intake simply to tall or do i have the wrong motormounts?

The dual plane (similar to the Edelbrock CH4B) "should" fit. If the intake you're running is taller than that, then that may well be your problem. You might try one of the drop type breathers. Sometimes they will clear

I've got an Offenhauser if you're interested in changing it. A bit lower profile than the M1 if I remember right.

Just modify the motor mounts...

if I can fit the tallest Indy intake and a 4" air filter element under the stock hood of my GTX it wouldn't take very much to get your combo to fit.I've done it doz's of times.

I found a Holley Street Dominator single plane that fit with plenty of room on my 71 RR and if you remember the Hot Rod manifold test, it performed very well. Actually ,pretty similar to the M1 single plane across the board.
