440 source dampener, any good?

I've used 3 of theirs, all were tight fit but no big deal with an installer tool (mine is just a piece of all-thread and a couple big washers and a nut with a nice smear of anti-sieze) what I like about the 440sc unit besides the fair price is that they are marked out to 50 BTDC...good if you don't use the dial-back style of timing light

how the hell do you delete a post ?!?!?
Maybe click edit then erase what you wrote, If it won't save the change without some kind of text then just type in a period or one letter or something? Haven't tried it..

I have one and it installed with no issues. Had it on and off once or twice. Presses on perfectly. People complaining about fit could very likely be blaming a crank problem on the balancer. Who's to say the crank is the right diameter !!

I took the stock balancer off, and the 440 source would not even start to go on. I called 440 source and they told me it had to be honed. I thought this might be normal at the time, but have sense learned not the case with other balancers. Considering the price of taking the engine and balancer to a machine shop, I saved nota, zero, zip. But the balancer is fine. And 440 source were very nice, and didn't tell me no lies.
