Not time distortion...extreme reflectivity from your nice paint.
That's exactly how long it took me, 7 years.. It would have gone a lot quicker but there was so much stacked against me ever finishing it I'm very fortunate that it's done, or done enough for now. Still hoping to build a better motor in the near future and maybe other mods to go with that such as dana rear, etc....I was following your build when you started. I haven’t been been back on here for about 7 years. You did a really nice job with this!
Thanks, that makes me feel a little better.. I'm hoping to at least get some heads and an intake this winter. And I think a 4000 stall converter instead of the 2800 that I have now would greatly improve my time. Just wondering about the streetability of a 4000 converter?Kid, that's actually not a bad time for a non HP prettty much stock engine.
What is the highest rpm stall that you think would still be streetable?May I suggest PTC when you get ready to order your converter. If you take the time to fill out their form and then call them to explain what you want, you'll get it right the first time. I think with some heads and intake and convertor you'll be close to the 7's
Seven years ago tonight I started this thread and I think every new years eve I've probably mentioned hoping to finish the car before the next year went by. But this new years I can finally break that tradition.. hehe! Ready for some fun with it in 2020!!....
When I shaved the mirror mount spot off the door and knew I'd regret it but I always said I would try one of these. It works ok and is easily removable.
HAPPY NEW YEAR MOPAR BROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
