$500- 68 charger

Got the quarter window finished. With a few little adjustments it was fairly easy to get it right. I also put on the drip rail trim. That is a good feeling snapping that trim on by hand.

Need some help with some parts that I did not label and sure can't remember what they are or where they go. So let's see who can "name that part".

1st ones go on the end of the lower windshield stainless trim, & gets a screw on the lower a pillar under the weather strip

I thought I might try to salvage these by patching them or make a new bottom half. Should be fun to weld, not sure if I can, and then make them look halfway acceptable. May spray coat them with some black "Flex-Seal", or my good ole black boat carpet, lol..

I was just looking at your thread and an alert popped up for a like on my thread from you thanks! looking great by the way, I just went thru the things you are doing now not to long ago. I have a set of rear pads off my car that I am not using, there not perfect but there solid I will dig them out this weekend, I believe the vinyl has a few cracks but there yours for shipping, will get a few pics for you. someone here on this forum did the same favor for me, thanks Justin!

Thanks anyway Don but I'm thru with the patch on this one and the metal on the other is ok. I may recover them with some black vinyl to try to get them close to stock looking.

Are you planing on installing your own headliner? I am trying to decide if it is better to get a headliner kit and have an upholstery shop install it or to have the upholsterer make a new one and install.

Get the kit. I really enjoyed installing mine and is very straight forward and an easy place to save some money. Pro tip: install the screws for the coat hooks and sunvisors before installing the headliner.

All I got from YO was the headliner and the rear sail-panel boards, for $85 w/shipping. It looks very nice but surprised at how heavy it is. I'm going to try to install it but if it starts getting difficult I will leave open the option of letting someone else finish it. I will have to do more studying/searching for info and how to threads as usual.
Thanks threewood that is a good idea to put the screws in prior.

Getting down to the nickel and dime portion. There always seems to be another hundred here and another there. But putting it all together is a blast. Keep it up!
