Wow, what a car. Thanks for the pics.

back when they knew how to design good looking cars

Gorgeous! Why isn't the top down? If I owned that car, I'd never have it up. :p

That car is probably worth an easy half million. Not many converts made that year and even fewer Adventurer and as stated above - fuel injected. Just be glad the owner allows it to come out in public to be seen. What a rare beauty. When you look at the styling you can see why Chrysler led the styling wars of the 50's. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful car. It's too bad it's a trailer queen though. IMO cars like that, hell any car, should be driven. Heck take it off the flatbed a few blocks away and at least drive it into the show.

Love the De Sotos from the 50s. If I had this one I probably wouldn't drive it too much either. It's really a museum piece. That said, it's nice to see someone bring cars like this out in public and actually drive them a little bit.

I know someone with a pristine fuelie '57 Chev convertible that never has had the top down either, for fear of introducing wrinkles to the roof.

Wow now that's an awesome car

Awesome 58 Desoto...

This Car Even As Big And Heavy As It Was Would Run At 140 MPH On A Closed Track! That Engine Was Right Around 340 Cubes And Put Out 340 Horses...One Horsepower Per Cubic Inch! Awesome Mopar Power!

Love the Desoto's!! Thanks for posting!! I'm actually looking to buy a '54 with a first gen Hemi if anybody has a lead on a restored piece. Thought I had one landed a year ago but it got away.
