62-65 Car show

preacher, that's a great looking scoop i agree that stinger is a bunch of good people. you have a great ride how did you bolt it down.
The scoop came with studs already in it for easy installation.

I see why you like the old one.
Yes, it was a nice scoop, but time for a change.
I took off a sixpack scoop ( cheap junk) and put on the dart scoop cause it was laying around the garage, i dont even know where it came from.
The max scoop looks right on your car, 62s never had any, so i dont have to look "right". And it does have two scoops. (raisen bran).

I drove it around the neighborhood for the first time this afternoon. Need to get the grill and bumpers on, get an alignment and ask my brother check over what I’ve done.

That's how I got my Max Wedge scoop on my 63 as I got it used from a friend but it had all the studs in it and was easy to install. Oh and your car looks great with that Max Wedge scoop on it !! Ron

Looks like a real car. Got most of the outside stuff on. I knew the bumpers were tweaked but they look worse on the car. It’s a good 20 footer.

Couple interior pics bearman was asking for. Rough original interior. Carpet was shredded and nasty so it was pulled out pretty quickly. It’s looking more and more like full new floor will be needed. So I’ll clean it up for now and slap some flex seal tape on it to try to seal it all up. Shameful but it’s a driver for a while at least and not a paper weight. Oh, you can see the original gold color on the dash.

its coming along great. yep some flooring needed. but you can drive while waiting on funds and parts which is nice. are you going to keep it gold inside and really like the floor console

Thanks. I bought black carpet a while back figuring it’ll go with most any color. I really want to stick with the pearl white interior but not sure if I can keep it clean. Lots of things to think about. I’m also hoping to put a 5-speed manual in later, money money and more money

the pearl white is a good choice as for keeping it clean that's easy. depending on the material they are have some great cleaners out there. i like vinegar and warm water cleans up well. putting in a 5 speed will make it a great cruiser and i agree money and more money. enjoy it your going to have a great time cruising around.

I’m down in Columbus Ohio this weekend visiting my daughter. She had her White Coat ceremony to start her pursuit of a Doctorate in pharmaceuticals degree. She saw there was a local car show today so we went over for a couple hours. Saw this really nice original (assuming) 426 wedge Coronet 440.
