62-65 Car show

Love this thread. I met "The" Tom Hover at the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drags in Stanton Mi. This is his 64 that I believe his son drives. Flaw less and fast.View attachment 242095

Here is a picture of my Uncle's 62 Belvedere Wagon Stock Eliminator car from back in the day. He and his good friend/racing partner campaigned this car for several years. They are both departed now and our families miss them both, they were good guys who taught me alot!! Don Studley and Al Etter.

Don was a good customer of ours. I once got to go to his house after work and see his NHRA SS/GT Dodge Dakota LA360 powered truck. He fired it up for a co-worker and I, man it sounded awesome!

Don's son Shane is running the truck now. He won the Winternationals with it a few years back. I was just happy to spend time with my uncle and cousin working on a super stock ride was just icing on the cake. I learned so much from helping out. The little things add up to alot, that's how the class cars run so hard, perseverance pays off.

What's your favorite 62?

I like em both. I really like the rear of the white one (Savoy?) but I do like the sides and rear bumper of the Dodge. and the meats under the Dodge are sweet too.

How about we start off Wagon Wednesday on Tuesday night.. I can't wait any longer.
