Thanks for the show! I picked one out that really hit's me. I could see finding that one in a garage somewhere covered up with a old quilt and wearing a topcoat of Christmas decorations in cardboard boxes. A car like that would be huge fun back on the street! I'll take this one!

I agree... I'm partial to that one also. Our car had a paint job like that when we bought it back in 85. I'll try to find some old photos of it.

QUESTION .Little back ground first. I have a 63 Fury 2 door hard top that is a old race car. It is caged and has wheel tubs.Plan is to race it again. It is at the body shop now and need ideas.Clean one color? or come up with a paint scheme more from the 60's ? I hope to race it in the NSS class if things go well.I sold my last race car a few years back that was two tone and was lettered and decals. The new owner removed all that and It really looked good. I don't know which way to go.

I love the nostalgia look but that's just me. Look through the photos on this thread (1500+) and find something that you like.

One color I would be looking at is the factory color.

my 64 Polara

My car is not yet ready for prime time. He is in DPLf primer now with new floors, repaired trunk, new lower legs on both front fenders, a new D side cowl and I hand made the P side cowl since i could not find a repop. Soon its on to finish body work and the yank out the dash for reconditioning. It's all fun...man I LOVE the 62-65 B-body cars. Keep working and soon enough my bruiser will meet with his brethren b-bodies for a reunion.
