Will you guys still let me hang around? I just bought a 70 Swinger. 35,000 miles, B5, 318,auto,PS,dealer installed air, Rim blow wheel. Nice driver for me as I get older! I would still like to own a early B sometime. May be my next purchase! LOL
This thread is awesome! There's some nasty looking beasts on here. I've come to appreciate this year span a great deal more than I used to. Thx for all the contributions from everyone.
The Mopar Nats this year is featuring the 50th. anniversary of the 1965 Mopars. How about a few to start the show! Thanks for the compliments on the Swinger guys.
These cars are nasty - was there any reason for ford or Chevy to show up. Or did they just turn tail and go the other direction. Wish I'd been able to see some of these cars run......
Agreed! I was only 10 back in 65 and couldn't get to the strip to see them run. I remember Nascar on tv but not NHRA. I do remember buying Hot Rod magazine as a early teen and getting interested in drag cars. My sisters second car was a 65 Belvedere 4 door and my uncles and cousin owned Mopars. Sorry for the side track. Most of those old Super Stockers are still racing. If you get a chance to get to a nostalgia race or the Mopar Nats you can see them run.

Here's a quick photo or two. I've been quite busy with work, family, my new Swinger and FABO. You all can post photos any time. It's your thread too. Mike
