I am not even sure what it is called in the 62 parts catalog its marked shield 7-31-10 with extensions 7-31-24. Its the piece that connects the fenders and i believe holds the front directionals. Mine are currently hanging off my fenders and the guy who took the car apart is clueless. Can anyone tell me did all 62 furys come with that front shield or how do those lights get attached. I am thinking i am missing parts. Does anyone have any clear photos of this where they connect. All the pictures i see show it under the bumper but i cant see anything

You can kind of see in the picture that there is a piece that attaches to both lower fenders. Called the valance. I've got a picture at home that I can send you later. furyvalance.jpg

Thankyou i need to see it up close where it attaches. It may have been misplace with one of my uncles other projects

It is a 3 piece valance and I can make you a new fiberglass one piece unit out of fiberglass. My wagon has one.

on the underside of each fender there are I think three bolts. There is also a center piece that ties into the radiator support.

Upon reviewing the images myself I see that they are not the greatest. Hope it helps though.

Yep, that's the piece I make and it bolts up like original and you bolt your turn signals to it. Sold quite a few of them and they are easier to install.

Thanks for all the pictures and posts. I did find the three piece set at Benny Buckners place in West Virginia. Hes the guy for late 50s early 60s mopar parts.
