Hi there, am looking for some advice on header choices for my 440 63 savoy--street car--good motor--needs 1 7/8 tubes min--anyone have any luck buying anything that did not need some adjusting with bfh when installing--Mike

TTI on my 64 fury.Excellent! BUT.... I'm running a 400 block so your exhaust is going to be a little taller,(just a thought)! good luck!!

put t.t.i. on my hemi, 69 coronet. 440. if anyting i was worried about ground clearence. you are too old for me.

63 Polara ..installed a 440 this year and I used Hedman #78030 great fit no problems...about $170

Thanks for the responses--just what I was looking for--just removed the race motor from the car and had the 2" tti's--the only clearance issue was the pitman arm, but these were from my 68 dart and were bought during the transition from cppa to tti---every tube has been massaged--something about the wrong jigs?--nice to see it has been resolved--I like the 170 dollar idea I have to say--can these be installed with the motor in the car? --- Mike

I have those hedmans on my 64 dodge 330 with a 440 4spd and the fit is 100% perfect. My car is also manual brakes and steering. There is also a ceramic coated version of the same header if you want it.

I have a set of Hedmans in my 65 Coronet with a 440 and pretty sure they fit with the engine installed. That was a while ago. Still look good and they fit great! Only problem I had was with the angle plugs on the Edelbrock heads. I had to dimple one of the tubes a bit for spark plug clearance. The Hedmans I have are older but I don`t think they changed them.

These are Hedman Elite, going into a 63 Dodge.

Headers

Well, we need a tie breaker---has anyone used those max wedge replica cast iron headers being sold--seem to be about the same price as the tti's---once again thanks for the info--the hedmans are looking awful good (something about the price)---Mike

These are 2" TTI's I used with my new eng. They fit great and work great. Ron

These are 1-3/4 Hedman Elite that I had on my old eng. They also fit fine and worked good. I will say the TTI are a better quality header but there is nothing wrong with the Hedman. Ron
