63 Savoy progress!

Yes Miguel...

Thank you. That will make it so much easier to repaint the dash I have in my car. Some idiot painted it red. There is no other red on the car. People and their tastes.

hi guys.
it's been a long time since I've been here. Busy familylife!
The Savoy is 99% ready and I have already took her out for a maiden trip last weekend!!

Thanks!
to be honest, my eldest son is 3 years old. I took him to the garage a few weeks back. I wasn't paying attention for a second. He took a hammer and beat a dent in the trunklid. Really. I had to have it fixed and repainted haha

The 63 looks great, Marcel. Congratulations for getting it on the road. I know it's been a long, long journey. How's your health?

Hi Dave,

thanks for asking! Very good. I have been cancerfree for 4 1/2 years now. So, another 6 months and the doctors can call it cured.
The best news a person can get!!!

Man,,,that's one mean machine !!!!got to love those 63's.And yes, to the member that wanted to know about the dash unbolting,,on my 63 fury,I wanted to upgrade the dash only,so started taking screws out and a while later had the dash on a stand and was able to rebuild the whole dash like new and so easy to work on also a good time to change the wiring, most have a rats nest of added and bare wires, which scared me for possible shorting out

Thank you. I already had the dash out and repainted it.

You gotta love the simplicity of old cars.

I can't say the same about my 1969 Impala which we are trying to change out the speedometer right now. The car was over engineered.

Thanks for posting that vid... it's an awesome sight to see such a badass Mopar tearing up the streets of Europe.
