Im in the process of rebuilding the steering coupler, not really a big deal until I disassembled mine only to find my shoe spring is in pieaces. So do I smash and squeeze the incorrect one provided in most rebuild kits, and use that? Or does someone sell the correct shoe spring?

well after looking at this thing for a day, the incorrect spring can be massaged to fit. placed it in a vice and use two flat washers to bend it slightly in and it works
