64-65 factory console tach

Somebody gave me the factory console tach to fit in my 65 Coronet. I have to order the sending unit board from RTEng but right now the tach has no wires on it. Just the 2 bare studs and the lamp. How do I know which wire is 12v and which is the wire in from the coil?

I would have to think that if they are reproducing an electrical type board to replace the original metal cased canister sending unit, they should certainly be able to give you a set of detailed instructions on how to hook it all up to make it work ???? Good Luck.
