64 Dodge only

I found a 64 only photo file on my computer. Here's a few I like.

Very nice pictures Dave, do you have any of the Cdn 440 model taillights? Probably not many Americans have seen them?
I guess I should have gone around and got some "bum" shots of the Canadian '64 Dodge 440's to show the different tail light treatment versus U.S. cars. The Spuce Green one belongs to my friend, Bob. He also has the black Canadian '63 Dodge 440 that I have posted pictures of.

That Anniversary Gold colour is so much nicer than it shows in photographs. It is almost an early "Flop/Flop" colour in that it changes so much depending on lighting.
Exactly.

I would like to see the difference.

My friend has a 1962 Dart Max Wedge clone, using 1964 3705 carbs. He has decided he would like to get the carbs freshened up, and I said the hardest part would likely be finding the rebuild kits. I found some U.S. sites that listed them, but were out of stock. About $100US per kit, if they had them. I found a site up here in Ontario that listed them. Parts Avatar, in Mississauga, Ontario. They were on sale, and came in 2 days, with no brokerage fees or tariffs. $112CAN, for the pair, including HST and shipping. Good Hygrade kits, just like the old days. Just a tip for anybody needing these rebuild kits for their "big top" AFB's. I don't know if modern Edelbrock kits would have been the same.

I have a love for 64 Dodges. I hope to own one before I tip over permanently. I have asked others what is the last car you want to own before they take your license away? For me it's a 64 Dodge. Any of the mid size models, Polara,440 or 330. Post up photos of yours or your favorites. Feed my frenzy! Thanks. This one is so clean. The wheels set off the chrome and although the color may be considered bland, it's a very attractive combination.

It's fun to look back at my first post and I can honestly say I now own a 64 Polara 500. It's a Arizona car, real solid with many new parts. Hey, the clock even works. LOL I started a thread officially introducing it to the group. My new to me 64 Polara

It looks like someone has put Polara interior door cards and rear interior panels on the car. The Polara 500 pieces had additional trim on them. The cards in the trunk are Polara 500, with chrome mylar inserts in arm rest area, and contrasting colour trim.

Yes, I noticed that when I cleaned out the trunk. What's on there now is ok but I can always keep my eye open for the 500 cards. They are fancier than the cards that are on the car now.

I hope you don't get tired of me asking questions. I try to do my homework before asking for help. I just posted about dash pads. I also have questions about front seat belts. There are rings in the floor. Not for factory belts I'm sure.

If you take off the inner aluminium sill plates and pull up the side of your carpet, you will find threaded provisions for optional seat belts in the sills. All '64 Dodges had these. A set of Retro Seatbelts can be attached here with regular seat belt bolts. There was no factory provision for attaching rear seat belts, however. I have added rear belts to my car, using large, thick flat washers for floor reinforcement.

ABC Moparts lists reproduction dash pad for 1964 Dodge. From what I have read here, it fits better than the one offered by Special T's. I don't mind the questions at all, Mike. I have been around 1964 Polara's since 1980. Since my Polara is a Canadian car, it uses the 1964 Plymouth Fury dash and ribbed dash pad.
