64 Polara owner in Washington

Very cool! I wish I had that much space in my garage.
Hi Dan;
We built a new home 18 years ago. My wife got the size house she wanted (1450 sq. ft.), and I got the size garage I wanted (1200 sq. ft.). Attached garage has in-floor hot water heat; very comfortable in the winter.

Welcome aboard from the Pacific Northwest. :thumbsup:
You will find out how much knowledge and experience everyone on this site has. Your car looks really good for starting the road to drive it again. Since you have owned the car forever no guesswork about what previous owners did. Saves some on those surprises that can lead down a dark hole.

Welcome Dan, from Ontario. You can get lots of help from FBBO. Lots of good guys on the site with knowledge and experience. Since you showed me your '64, I'll show you mine. Oddball Canadian built Polara 4-door hardtop with factory buckets and console interior. I tore it all down a couple of years ago and redid it with new front and trunk floors, rear quarters. I got it back from paint in November and am putting it back together Like you, I have had it a long time. Second owner since 1980, but it has not been on the road for over 20 years. I have just bought Vintage Air to put in it and want to convert bucket seats to power. It has a 440 in it built to Magnum spec's and '69 Charger 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 Suregrip. Front brakes converted to power disc with stuff from 1970 Road Runner, and weld-in frame connectors. I added third red tail light to each side and converted them to sequential flash turn signal. Back-up lights are now in license plate cove, like 440 series.
