I just aquired a 65 Coronet 500. Guy lost interest in it. Has alot of new parts. I'm sure there are extras. Let me know if you are missing anything.

I was reading your comments to the father and son project. Say I have been looking for over 50 years for my first car I bought in high school it was 1965 Dodge
Coronet 500. Red with a black vinyl top. Impossible to find. I had to sell the car I was drafted in the Army right out of High school. Went to Vietnam like everyone else. Came home and always been looking for one. Never did find one. This week I found a 1965 Coronet but it was a 440 sad the guy told me it was a 500.
Well drive 3 hours to take a look at it, the car was nice. I still have questions about the difference between the 440 to the 500, can you tell me the difference??
I would really like to have my dream car back but I think it is a lost cause. I will let you reply back to me. If you want to email me that would be great.

Difference is the trim and rear taillights. The 500 also had bucket seats and center console. Don’t know if that was optional on the 440. I actually like the 440 side trim really well. Others probably know better about the options.

the 500 that I had in high school had 383 4 speed bucket seats.
Sure miss her now.
Anyone out there reading this, are there books out there to show or tell where the body parts go like trim.
I just bought this car 2 days ago and I'm scared about putting it back together.
