I am restoring a 65 dodge coronet convertible. I am stuck with the brake and fuel lines trying to route them around /through the torque boxes in the front of the car by the firewall. I have the pre bent lines. does anyone have any pictures on how they go? I have called the company that makes them and they don't have a diagram and I cant find anything on the internet.

I happened to be under my car lol and remembered your post. These are from a 1962 B body but should be the same or similar.

This is driver side looking forward brake line routing. Runs along the inner rocker then snakes around as shown into the engine compartment

When it reaches the frame rail it runs straight to the distribution block.

This is the passenger side fuel line looking forward. Again, it runs down the inner rocker.

A couple shots as it routes along the frame rail.

I am thinking the issue is with the torque boxes. I know the frame connectors are not original, are these torque boxes correct for a convertible?

I can tell you on my HT that my torque boxes are not boxed in like your vert's are. Can you snake the line through the large hole in the torque box and up and in towards the floor and inner frame rail to come up around the firewall. I can imagine that'll be tough. I know it's not the best time now but I've seen several people build tubes or pockets into frames and through the boxes. BTW that is going to be a great looking car, I like the color.

Yes, that was it!! the lines go though the large hole. I was stuck on trying to run them underneath/around the boxes. Thanks! cant wait to get the car on the road.
