Just installed a set of Competition Engineering drag shocks on the front, adjusted to 90/10 as were the previous other brand shocks.
When I let the jack down, both front wheels appear to be turned slightly inward at the front (they weren't before)???? Any thoughts on this?

hate to tell you but those shocks are the worst out there. I am taking them off of my 63 Plymouth and replacing them with afco dbl. adjustables.
those shocks don't work worth a crap. I hate them. my front end does weird things too with them on.

Great, this is the second set in two weeks! The first set was Lakewood 90/10's.....I pulled it out of the garage and just goosed it a bit and boom they ripped apart on launch!!!
I thought these would be a better choice. Thanks for the info.

Did you roll the car some when you let it down off the jack? The suspension needs to 'settle out' when you pick it up off the ground. As for the CE shocks....never had good service from that brand. Do you really need 90/10's? Had a set on a 10.60 car and it came up too fast and then when it came back down, it would unload the rears. After chasing my tail for awhile I threw on a pair of medium duty 50/50's just to see what it would do (and they were laying around) and well, that was the trick it needed.

Yeah, I drove it around the block today to see if it would settle down and it did, but still has a lot of toe in at the front, so off to the front end alignment shop tomorrow. The previous owner raced it for 18 years and the 90/10's is what it came with, so I figured why fix it if it ain't broke......but in this case the shocks were broke! So I put a similar set up in. Going to test at the track this weekend and see what happens.

Unless the front shocks are bottomed out due to wrong length or severely lowered front end, they shouldn't have any bearing on the toe-in. They don't support any weight. Unlike others here, my experience with Comp. Engineering shocks and bars has been good.
