65 Coronet hood to rad seal

I picked up a new seal for the hood to rad on the 65. It is the wide style. Each end is cut a few inches, what is done with the ends? Do they attach to the rad support or just hang?

They just hang out... one side has the overflow tube... I'd spray it down with armor all let it soak if it's a little stiff and won't lay down like you want

Thanks I see two small holes in the rad support that line up but the seal doesn't look right on one side..maybe when the weather is warmer it will lay down better.

I just installed one on my '65 Belv. The ends hang down and are clipped in tight

That is what I did but that side you have shown is not as tight as yours where as the otherside is perfect,,humm better go see whats different LOL..THANKS FOR THE PIC.
