65 Satellite needs a brake booster. Has a rebuilt Midland style booster with the original style single master cylinder. Looking at upgrading to a newer booster and master cylinder. There seem to be some options. Is this a good time to upgrade to front disc also? There are some reasonably priced kits out there. Not concerned about staying original. Just want a good working system.
Some of the boosters I’ve checked on only work to replace a factory manual system.
What are your experiences?

If your 4 wheel drums work ok for your driving leave them. I would look at a dual master and booster set up. Dual is way safer than the old single system. There are companies that offer complete systems.

Does the engine pull a good amount of vacuum? What size drums do you now have? My 65 Coronet has 4 wheel 10" nonpower drums and a 67 dual MC. I can lock up the wheels if need be.
