66/67 Coronet/ Charger fender nose section.

Yes that will work and yes you can cut it 6 inches shorter than your mark. For sure in front of the headlight panel. There is always guys looking for the dog leg section.

I had three passenger side and only one driver side...and of course the driver's side is the best of the bunch.

Actually it could be used as a complete fender if absolutely necessary. Kind of pains me to cut it...

Here's some pics- I marked a line where the 12" from the nose falls in blue sharpie.

I can drill off the headlight buckets to save a little weight.

I also drew arrows pointing to some minor rust. Not in easily seen areas, though.

The 12" mark falls after the headlight support/core support bracket.

Cutting in front of that would save a lot of weight and size.

I'll run shipping both ways with your actual zip when I get home, and pm you those.

Thanks everyone, I think YY1 and I have a deal for what I need. Ghost

It sure is and good thing too. There's a great bunch of MOPAR guys and gals on this forum and it is one place I always look forward to going online.

PM coming shortly.

Pics from the surgery.

I kept thinking "wow, this really could be used whole if nothing else was available".

I had to psych myself up to do the cutting.

I literally felt like I was dismembering a child.

...anyway, I tried to leave you some material to work with.

Removing the headlight brace saved a lot of weight and width.

It came out to almost exactly the 12" you initially requested.

I'm looking for a box today. We go through a LOT of boxes where I work.

More than good enough YY1 and thanks a million. I feel your pain on the cutting issue, I feel the same way everytime I go to the salvage yard and cut something or remove it.

I've been deleting PMs like crazy and refreshing the page but I'm still getting the "...cant send a message until you clear space..." block.

Your fender section went out early this week.

Thanks YY1, I was not concerned about it. Peace.

Hey, the fender came today! It's exactly what I needed, will work fine. Thanks for your help!

Glad you got it and are still working on the car.

I finally figured out what happened to my PM box-

Gold member expired.

What timing.
