yes

My brother and I was putting together a 383 when that pic of the BVD was taken. This car had no floor boards,I have no metal skills and I could not pay to have the car properly reinforced.Should have tied the frames and sheet metaled the floors. The car already had 8-3/4 rearend.383 was 030 over, balanced and blueprinted.worked over 906's 2.14&1.81 valves, torker II intake,750 holley, elctronic ignition,509 cam. That thing would rev like a 340.WE wound up getting a 71 340RT challenger to put the motor in,It was solid.Found it Louisville KY.I gave my brother the 66 to drive. He drove it for a year or so and gave it back to me.I lived in an apt.I had no place to keep it.I was already paying storage for the RT.I sold the BVD to Mitchell
Motors for $150(mopar place in columbus)

challenger was fun

Challenger was fun when it was running. That car was down more often than up and running. It was always one bug after another. The BVD always started. The holes in the floor boards guaranteed I did not get busted with open adult beverages.I lost the ignition key once,I could not afford new set-up for a few weeks,hot-wired it without cutting and splicing wires.Wound up being something like a breathalyzer,if you were too drunk to figure out how to start the car.you should not be driving.

Just about every E body I have ever had has had wiring issues, That's a funny story on the built in breathalyzer ! it probably keep you outta the drunk more than once. :rolling:

wiring

That was it.It took me a while to get them figured out.My little brother is currently using a 66 BVD as a daily driver.WE had wiring issues this summer.I told him to take it Dave at DC electric here in columbus.I was not going to attempt to help with the wiring, I am done with trying to chase electric ghosts.Dave fixed his car and everything works like it is supposed to.
