'66 Charger Hemi 4 sp on BaT

Between the road noise from the rear wheel wells being open to the cockpit, eternally malfunctioning gauge cluster and bouncing headlight buckets.......

They make great race cars.: D That is coming from a guy that has driven these things daily through four seasons.

Poverty caps look and work great on some cars, IMO. However, the Charger was never meant to be the poor man sleeper. I think they are out of place, on that car.

They are so overdone! Boring!

We have our first 67 that we bought in 1970, 145,000 miles instrument lights and gauges still work fine. Headlights never did bounce. Guess we got a good one. Does have bad quarters.

Same with mine 127,000. The headlights bouncing is likely from the bushing opposite the motor end of the bucket. They get worn and brittle and fall apart.

I always figured it was the 550+ hp and the four speed. Cool that you both have had your cars for that long!

Don't see green/tan too much on 60's cars unless they are Britt/euro.

I’m surprised no one on BaT has asked about the missing sway bar yet? Or casting codes or machined pad photos on the block since it’s said to be original.

Unbelievable to me, it just sold for $110K

Must be that Charger premium to the tune of about $40,000. I guess someone with money liked the colors and dog dish hubcaps after all.

That must mean that my 66 Hemi Belvedere II is worth at least 95 large.
