66 coronet headliner

Anyone know if you have to take the windshield out to put a new headliner in 66 440 coronet? Can it be done without removing glass? Thanks

67 can be done with the windshield in.
66 hdtp should be the same.

They can all be done with the glass in. Now is it easier with it out, you bet your *** it is...

Get plenty of clamps like 12 to hold it as you stretch it

I did mine about a year ago with the front and rear glass still in the car. It turned out pretty good.
It was the first headliner I had ever done. 1966 Coronet 2 dr/ hdt
