I just bought a 67 coronet R/T. The only rust on the car is around the rear window. The vinly top caused it to rust through in some spots. I was wondering if anyone knows of some who might reproduce a weld in panel or maybe someone out there would have a donor car a guy could cut some parts off of. Thanks Cody

Use galvanized and remove the galvanized where you mazke your beads. Be careful of excess heat production. If you want more info on this project, eg leading, mig vs tig how to shape replacement pieces send me an email or message.

I made my own patch using pieces of sheet metal.

Yup............

The pre 68' B's sure don't get the attention they deserve. I can get pretty much get every single piece of sheetmetal for my 69 RR inside and out, but no one can take the time to make some 66-67 B-Body quarters. Sad

Ya, It sure would be nice if someone would take the time to reproduce more than what is available. You would think that they would be a little more sought after seeing as how they are truly the first badged mopars.

I made little patch panels for the affected areas. It came out great and as long as you keep that area free of dirt and standing water, it will last a long time.

After you get it fixed, weld some steel tubing (3/8) at the low spots. Then hook some plastic tubing to that and run it threw a small hole drilled and sealed in your rear inner fender. Now when you wash it it drains right out.
